Ford government plugging its ears to teachers’ concerns

“The Premier cannot say he wants a deal if he is instructing negotiators to dig in their heels.

Instead of finding a solution to this dispute, the government side is plugging its ears, refusing to discuss core issues like support for students with special needs.

It’s shameful that the government is maintaining an adversarial position that is escalating tensions, rather than looking for common ground.

To avoid a strike, the government must start listening to the serious education issues raised by elementary teachers.”
